Fireside Chat With Technology Leaders Featuring Rajeev Deshprabhu

NeST Digital on Saturday, 2nd October 2021, hosted a Fireside Chat with top technology leaders from various domains, at Taj Vivanta Trivandrum. The key topic of discussion was ‘Technology Trends in Automotive and other Industries.
This event featured Mr. Rajeev Deshprabhu, Vice President – Transportation & Industrial, NeST Digital. Last month, NeST Digital welcomed Mr. Rajeev to lead its Transportation and Industrial Businesses. He will now spearhead the businesses comprising Manufacturing Automation, Automotive, Aerospace & Defence, Rail and Marine Transportation verticals. Rajeev has more than 34 years of experience in different industries, geographies, and functions; predominantly in engineering services, product design, and automotive embedded software services.
To kick off the event, Mr. Rajeev delved deep into the topic, shared his views through his presentation, which was followed by an interactive session of thought-provoking discussions. The event concluded with an informal networking session during high tea.
Top technology leaders from Tata Elxsi, Infosys, UST Global, Experion Technologies, etc came together and exchanged their knowledge base related to current and future trends in technology. Key topics covered during the 2-hour interactive session were: the future of autonomous vehicles – its pros and cons, future trends in AI and ML, IoT in industries, how new technologies would impact growth in India and questions on how well equipped we are for the future. Another interesting fact that was pointed out was the gap between the education sector and the IT industry.
It was an enriching session for everyone. All the participants enjoyed the event, shared their positive feedback and expressed their interest in such future sessions!
