Nest-head start association: Facilitating treatment for paediatric brain tumor

Paediatric brain tumour is a life threatening disease! Every year in India, around 60,000 people are diagnosed with brain tumours and 1 out of 5 is a child.
The hardest part being a parent is watching your children suffer and not being able to fix it for them.
Financial concerns is a huge burden especially for low income households, adding on to the worries of their children going through endless treatments. We hope that no child suffers and receives proper medical treatment and care with no obstacles!
Joining Hands with Head Start
NeST group joined hands with Head Start, an initiative launched by Aster Medcity, Kochi, to facilitate various medical treatments for brain tumor in children.
Head Start, launched in February 2022, is an independent initiative established under the Aster DM Foundation. This provides an extensive, hassle-free support for low income families, through special medical treatments, educational assistance and counselling sessions. Other goals of this initiative include sessions, early detection programs and promoting research within India and other countries as well.
We request you to spread the message across to as many as possible. The high cost of treatments should not be a hindrance, risking the precious lives of our children!
